Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) uses a proven combination of straightforward, practical self-help techniques and therapeutic tools. EFT, also known as “tapping therapy” and has been described as “acupuncture without needles”. EFT combines the stimulation of acupressure points through a tapping process and cognitive restructuring (using specially worded affirmations). This combination of acupressure point stimulation and cognitive restructuring often leads to rapid, positive shifts in thinking patterns, helping resolve emotional issues.
EFT Level-2 Training
This two-day, EFT Level-2 training course will provide comprehensive training in using Emotional Freedom Techniques in a wide range of circumstances. It will equip you to apply the techniques in a wide variety of situations and equip you to offer EFT as a therapy. EFT Level 2 training provides students with the skills to explore the power of foundational EFT out in the world. Successful completion of Level 2 is a prerequisite for the path to
International-accredited EFT Practitioner Certification.
This practical, hands-on course will cover:
- a brief review of Level 1 EFT
- more on “Chasing The Pain”
- additional tapping points
- Additional Tapping Techniques
- an introduction to using positive choices
- questioning techniques to help get to core issues
- identifying and working with tail-enders and limiting beliefs
- introduction to surrogate work
- delivering EFT via the telephone/computer
- EFT practice issues
- and a lot more!
The Trainer
George Brooks, who is an accredited EFT trainer, will deliver the EFT Level-2 training
. The course will provide EFTi (AAMET) the training required to complete accreditation.
Perquisites
You must have completed an EFTi approved
EFT-Level-1 training course to attend EFT Level-2 training.
Costs and Practicalities

Dates
We do not yet have a date scheduled for this training. Please complete the
booking form to express your interest in the course and we will notify you when we have a date. Filling in the booking form at this stage does not commit you to attend. It enables us to gauge interest and keep you informed.
Venue
The training will take place at Counselling Matters, 18 Crosby Road North, Waterloo, L22 4QF. Please arrive by 9:30 am for a 10:00 start. We’ll finish at 5 pm on both days.
Our offices are just a few minutes walk from Waterloo station on the Northern Line and the major bus routes (47, 53, 53A, 63, 133 and X2 buses). There is a small car park, and additional on-street parking is available.
Booking Form
If you would like to book for the EFT Level-2 training event, please complete the
online booking form. We will then send you an invoice for the full amount, having credited any deposit. You can pay the balance by bank transfer or credit/debit card. Please note that bookings are final and non-refundable, although you may transfer the booking to another person.
