I am an experienced counsellor who is passionate about helping clients overcome issues they might have been struggling with for months or even years. Many of us experience difficulties in our lives and that is when therapy can help. I believe the process of therapy is different for each client. My approach to therapy is that my client and I work closely to agree the best way forward. I have found my approach to be successful for many clients.

Since qualifying as a counsellor I have trained further in CBT and Mindfulness. I have also completed an MSc in Psychological Trauma as well as trained to provide EMDR and EFT. My speciality is psychological trauma, including PTSD and C-PTSD (complex PTSD).

Associate Counsellor & Coordinator

My extensive experience has provided me with a profound and empathic understanding of the difficulties that people face throughout their lives. Therefore, I offer a warm, personal and confidential service to those who wish to explore their experiences in a safe, nurturing environment.
I am a person-centred experiential psychotherapist and have worked in both the private and charitable sectors. I offer experiential therapy, and can incorporate expressive methods to help you get in touch with your inner being.
In a supportive and non-judgmental relationship, we can work together through historic or current issues to help you increase self-understanding and self-awareness. I want to help you realise your true potential, to enable you to determine your own way forward.

As a psychotherapist trained in person-centred therapy, I offer clients a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space. We all experience difficulties in our lives and might benefit from having a safe place to discuss the problems we face.

My 29-year experience in education underpins my work. It has enabled me to support people through a range of problems and difficulties. I have worked with clients who have experienced domestic abuse, childhood sexual abuse and self-esteem issues. Since completing my MA Counselling and Psychotherapy, I have further trained in Relationship Counselling, where I help couples work through difficulties and barriers in their communication.

Associate Counsellor

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I’ve been counselling since 2014. I am a person-centred experiential counsellor, so that means that I work predominantly with clients ‘felt sense’, their immediate experiencing. I have worked largely with vulnerable women and more recently, young people and men.

I am a highly empathic, intuitive individual who believes all beings are innately good and the power of the present moment. I am extremely passionate about helping others and knew from a young age this was my life path. I see counselling not as a job or vocation, but rather as a way of being.

I seek to offer a space where you can share thoughts and feelings about your difficulties without judgement; to offer a safe and accepting relationship in which you can explore your situation, understand yourself better and aim to make a positive change. I believe that we are all experts on our own lives, but problems and difficulties can sometimes leave us feeling disconnected from our own innate resourcefulness, values and meaning. My experience has led me to believe in the significance of taking time out from life’s distractions to reconnect with our inner self, as a way of finding ways forward that make sense to us.
