I am an experienced counsellor who is passionate about helping clients overcome issues they might have been struggling with for months or even years. Many of us experience difficulties in our lives and that is when therapy can help. I believe the process of therapy is different for each client. My approach to therapy is that my client and I work closely to agree the best way forward. I have found my approach to be successful for many clients.
Since qualifying as a counsellor I have trained further in CBT and Mindfulness. I have also completed an MSc in Psychological Trauma as well as trained to provide EMDR and EFT. My speciality is psychological trauma, including PTSD and C-PTSD (complex PTSD).

As a psychotherapist trained in person-centred therapy, I offer clients a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space. We all experience difficulties in our lives and might benefit from having a safe place to discuss the problems we face.
My 29-year experience in education underpins my work. It has enabled me to support people through a range of problems and difficulties. I have worked with clients who have experienced domestic abuse, childhood sexual abuse and self-esteem issues. Since completing my MA Counselling and Psychotherapy, I have further trained in Relationship Counselling, where I help couples work through difficulties and barriers in their communication.

I’m a certified practitioner of Emotional Freedom Techniques, commonly known as tapping. Collaborating with an EFT practitioner can help you navigate and resolve daily life issues, freeing up your energy and enhancing your overall well-being.
I address a wide range of concerns, such as managing negative emotions, coping with traumatic experiences, and navigating psychological challenges. My expertise extends to supporting individuals dealing with ADHD, PTSD (including complex PTSD), chronic fatigue, and various other issues.
